The Whole Place, Yours for the Night

Lost And Found is a small taproom, which means private hire is exactly that — we close to everyone else and the place is yours. Up to 80 guests inside, or 100 when the weather lets us use the outside space.

It's become the go-to spot round here for 40ths and 50ths, work socials and family celebrations. You get a bar stocked entirely with Sussex beer and cider, a locally curated wine list, and a host who'll actually be there on the night.

About a week's notice is usually plenty — though popular Saturdays go earlier, so it's worth asking as soon as you have a date in mind.

Booking in Three Steps

Send us an email

Email info@lostandfoundbrighton.com with your date and rough numbers. Put "Booking" in the subject line and we'll know what it's about.

We'll come back to you

Jon replies personally to go through what you want — timings, food, music, any drinks you'd like in for your guests.

Sign and you're in

We'll send a short form covering the terms and take card details to hold the booking. Sign it, send it back, and the date is yours.

About the minimum spend

There's no charge for the room itself — instead you guarantee a minimum spend behind the bar, from £250 midweek and £1,000 at weekends. Almost every party clears it without trying. If the night's takings come in under the figure you agreed, we charge the difference to the card on file, and that's all set out in the form you sign up front — no surprises on the night.
